Investment Strategy
This real estate fund of funds takes a flexible approach to investing, in line with the market situation, in real estate funds and international real estate stocks/real estate equity funds worldwide. It combines the features of the various real estate investments that benefit in different ways from developments in the real estate markets. The fund places particular emphasis on a broad diversification of risk. It makes an average of 50 individual investments in more than 500 properties and 30 countries. The addition of fixed-income securities provide an interest-bearing cash management.
Monthly Fund Manager's Commentary
The indicative price of the DJE Real Estate was EUR 4.96 by month end (30 April), which is a decrease compared to the indicative pricing of last month from EUR 5.04 in height of 8 cent. Because several open real estate funds were particularly affected by the devaluation of selected real estates, there performance was negative. As the Warburg-Henderson Deutschland Fonds Nr. 1 was able to conclude some real estate sales, the DJE Real Estate registered an inflow of EUR 2.3 Mio as a result of these sales. In addition the fund received EUR 0.9 Mio due to the distribution of the Degi German Business fund and SEB Immoportfolio Target Return.
