Dr. Jens Ehrhardt
Chairman
Dr. Jens Ehrhardt, whose talent in managing assets was already apparent during his studies of economics in the 1960s, is the founder, majority shareholder and Chairman of the company.
In 1974, five years after becoming a partner of what was then the largest independent asset management company in Germany, he received his doctorate for a thesis on the factors that influence equity markets. In the same year he laid the foundation for our group of companies, which he has led ever since.
In addition to his role as Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Jens Ehrhardt is responsible for the areas risk management and corporate/investment strategy.

Dr. Jan Ehrhardt
Deputy CEO
Dr. Jan Ehrhardt is Deputy CEO of DJE Kapital AG and is responsible for Wealth Management and Research & Portfolio Management.
Since 2003, he is in charge of the DJE – Dividende & Substanz and since 2010 also for the balanced fund DJE - Zins & Dividende.
Before joining DJE Kapital AG he worked for Credit Suisse Group in New York as an equity research analyst, among others. He studied at the University of St. Gallen, the London School of Economics and graduated with a PhD from the University of Wuerzburg.

Dr. Ulrich Kaffarnik
Member of the Executive Board
Dr. Ulrich Kaffarnik is a member of the executive board and head of fund management & trading.
Following his studies, he worked for various banks before joining the investment fund industry in 1991. After two years at Schröder, Münchmeyer, Hengst & Co. in Frankfurt, he joined Franken-Invest Kapitalanlagegesellschaft in Nuremberg as head of fund management. He was appointed to the management board in 1996.
Before joining DJE in 2006, he served as managing director at BHW Invest.

Peter Schmitz
Member of the Executive Board
Peter Schmitz is a member of the executive board and leads the finance & administration, human resources, it/edp as well as the legal, compliance, aml, anti-fraud, internal audit and data protection departments. After a traineeship in banking, Peter Schmitz completed a university degree in economics.
Before joining DJE Kapital AG in 2000, he started his career in the securities department of a major bank and went on to work as a financial controller at a telecommunications firm.

Thorsten Schrieber
Member of the Executive Board
Thorsten Schrieber has extensive experience in asset management sales, spanning over several years. He was responsible for sales at Credit Suisse Asset Management ( Germany) GMBH, Zürich Investmentgesellschaft mbH and Fidelity Brokerage Services. Between 2001 and 2007, he worked for DJE Kapital AG and DJE Investment S.A. as a board member for sales and marketing. Following engagements in the area of real estate development in Italy and Austria, he again joined the leadership team of DJE Kapital AG, and was elected as a member of the Executive Board in October 2018.
Thorsten Schrieber is responsible for Sales ( Institutional, Wholesale, Retail ), Sales Support, as well as Marketing & PR.
