Sustainability at DJE
We are convinced that sustainability considerations can play an important role in assessing companies and markets. Environmental, social and corporate ethics issues can influence both opportunities and risks, and may therefore be relevant to long-term investment decisions.
With that in mind, we take sustainability considerations into account as an additional element of our investment process. They feed into our analysis as a further perspective and are assessed in the context of each company's particular situation.

Considering ESG-Aspects in the investment process
Within our investment process, sustainability considerations are embedded in a broader analytical context. They are assessed alongside company-specific, qualitative and quantitative factors, not in isolation. Environmental, social and governance topics are placed in the context of the relevant company and market environment in order to gain a better understanding of long-term opportunities and risks. How sustainability-related aspects are applied and weighted in practice may vary depending on the product, the strategy and the regulatory framework.
A solid Data Basis
A reliable basis of data is an important prerequisite for our analysis. We use the ESG analysis and ratings provided by MSCI ESG Research LLC and supplement these with our own research. The external information serves as an additional source and supports our own qualitative assessment.
