DJE Kapital AG mourns the passing of Theo Dräger, who died on 19 November 2025 at the age of 87.
As an entrepreneur and visionary financial expert, he shaped the family-owned company Dräger over many decades and safeguarded its independence. At the same time, he was deeply committed to promoting the common good. In conversation, he was respectful, analytical and consistently solution-oriented.
In the 2000s, he also supported our firm as a member of the Supervisory Board, contributing entrepreneurial foresight, extensive financial expertise and remarkable modesty. His perceptive, often understated remarks went straight to the heart of the matter and helped guide decisions with a long-term and independent perspective.
For more than 50 years, he was among the earliest readers of FINANZWOCHE and remained closely connected to capital market developments with curiosity and a critical mindset until the very end.
