German Fund Award for DJE – Zins & Dividende

DJE - Zins & Dividende was awarded "outstanding" in the category "balanced global mixed funds" for the third time in a row. In every market phase, the fund strives for the most consistent, positive performance possible, and its strategy has once again convinced the auditors in a field of 462 competitors.

The mixed fund DJE - Zins & Dividende PA of DJE Investment S.A., subsidiary of DJE Kapital AG (DJE), has been awarded this year's German Fund Award. As already for the years 2018 and 2019, DJE's flagship fund received the rating "outstanding" in the category "balanced global mixed fund" for the year 2020. The German Fund Award is awarded by FONDS professionell and the Institut für Vermögensaufbau IVA, which specialises in portfolio and risk analysis. The award is based on a quantitative evaluation of the eleven most important fund categories, subdivided into equity, bond and mixed funds according to regional investment focus or investment strategy and sustainability. In addition, the top funds were examined in a multi-stage analysis process. It was important not only to determine whether the fund consistently moved within the bandwidths of its investment spectrum - but also whether the results achieved were actually attributable to the right decisions by management.

The award was presented at a gala event of the "Fonds professionell Congress" on 29 January in Mannheim. Florian Barber, Head of Wholesale in the sales team of DJE Kapital AG, said: "We are very proud to hold the German Fund Award for DJE - Zins & Dividende in our hands for the third time in a row. This great award is a confirmation of our long-term sustainable investment strategy and a proof of our comprehensive expertise in research and asset accumulation. With the aim of achieving the most positive, low-volatility performance possible, the fund can be flexibly adapted to changing markets and is ideally suited as a basic investment. In addition, regular income from interest and dividends can serve as a buffer in the event of possible price slumps. This value-oriented and at the same time low-risk investment policy pays off for our customers.

DJE - Zins & Dividende is a globally investing mixed fund independent of benchmark requirements with a current fund volume of 1.87 billion euros (as of 29.01.2020). Managers are Dr. Jan Ehrhardt and Stefan Breintner. The investment objective is to achieve stable income from interest and dividends as well as a sustainable positive performance with moderate volatility. The fund focuses on a strategic weighting of bonds and high-dividend and high-net-worth equities worldwide. Losses should be avoided as far as possible, regardless of the performance of the capital markets. To reduce risk, at least 50 percent of the fund's assets are permanently invested in bonds. The equity component is therefore limited to a maximum of 50 percent. The fund is suitable for investors with a medium to long-term investment horizon who want to take advantage of opportunities in both equities and bonds - and who value flexibility in portfolio design.
